Apogee Moon and the winter sky
Fog rolled in as the temperature dropped after today’s rainfall. The bright moon cast distinct rays of light through gaps in the trees. In this image, Jupiter shines just above left of the moon, nearly hidden by its glare. The winter sky fills the rest.
