Above the volcano, around the pole
This hour-long exposure of rotating sky (due to the Earth rotation) has captured trailing stars around the north celestial pole (marked by star Polaris). On the Earth is the moonlit spring landscape of Mt. Teide in Tenerife, a spectacular volcano that reaches over 3700m above the Atlantic Ocean.
